Can we swim in the River?

Not advised; the water is 48-52 degrees, and the currents can change rapidly during rain and also when damn generation levels increase on a daily basis.

Where is the best place to go swimming; have a picnic, play at a lake or beach?

Dam Site Recreation Area.  We have listed some relevant websites below.

LOCATION:  315 Heber Springs Rd N, Heber Springs, AR 72543

Do you Rent Boats?

We do Not.  We offer guided fishing trips with a professional fishing guide who will take you out of the river in their own boats and provide everything you need to have a safe, fun day on the Little Red River.  If you want to enjoy Greers Ferry Lake, we recommend renting a boat from the Dam Site Marina, their website is linked here:  http://www.damsitemarina.com/

Can I bring my own Boat?

Absolutely.  We do not recommend that you bring a bass boat, as the river can be very shallow.  A small jon boat or a true "River Boat" with a jet motor is needed to properly and safely navigate the river.  During Damn Generation times, the river is only recommended for experienced boaters.

Do you rent kayaks, canoes, bikes, etc?

We recommend Sulphur Creek Outfitters in Heber Springs for all your Kayak, Canoe, and Biking needs.  They have exceptional equipment and can provide shuttle services for you and your family.

Can we walk down to the shore and fish from the cabin?

Most of the cabins are elevated some distance from the river shore so that they are located outside the flood plain.  With few exceptions, it is difficult to get directly down to the river from the cabin.  Our fishing dock is open to our renters free of charge and is an excellent place to fish.

Where can I go wade fishing nearby?

There is no location at Lobo Landing that has access to wade fishing due to the depth of the water.  Libby Shoals is the closest location to wade fish and it is located a half-mile up the highway to the right of the resort.  Look for the paved parking lot and the big GREEN signposted by the State of Arkansas that says "LIBBY SHOALS"
